TRI-MATERIAL VALVE
Patented technology, conceived and created to optimize performance, safety, and reliability. This brass valve is covered with a hard PU then the head is layered olecularly with a soft PU. Tri-material (brass, soft polyurethane, and -heavy duty- polyurethane) reaches a new level of durability.

FLUID DYNAMIC DEFLECTOR
This innovative deflector, developed after in-depth study and tests of fl uid dynamics, is engineered to receive and properly direct the airfl ow from the by-pass tube to the mouthpiece. Combined with the VAD it delivers a very natural and effortless breathing.

VAD - VORTEX ASSISTED DESIGN
All Mares second stages offer the unique patented VAD system. The air bypass tube conveys air to the mouthpiece creating a swirling vortex with a low pressure area in center that keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation, for very sensitive and easy breathing at all depths.

MESH-GRID
The patented mesh design of the second stage cover reduces the pressure of water fl owing onto the second stage diaphragm and minimizes free-flow. Even in strong currents it eliminates the need for a knob to -de-tune- your air delivery system to stop free fl owing: Advanced Technology through basic physics.

DFC - DYNAMIC FLOW CONTROL
DFC system minimizes the intermediate pressure drop during inhalation, making it possible to use a simpler and more reliable second stage. Any type of manual adjustment is not necessary, thanks to the consistency derived from first stages that guarantees a stable flow of air, even under extreme conditions.

SUPERFLEX HOSE
Mares developed the new -superflex- hose after many years of testing and research. The results achieved far surpass the tests required by EN250, and even the highly stringent additional tests Mares applies for use in extreme conditions. SUUNTO ZOOP

By putting all dive-critical information -including dive time, depth, and no- deco time - on your wrist (or console). So as the first divers start to run low on air and the rest of the team have to follow the dive master up, you can continue exploring the reef.

Suunto Zoop is a great value, easy-to-use dive computer for recreational divers. Though Suunto Zoop is the choice for your first dive computer, its full decompression capabilities and nitrox mode mean it’s designed to give you years of serious fun.

The new dive computer can be used with both air and nitrox and is designed to give the specifics of any diving situation, including decompression, at a glance.

Both ascent rate and available no-decompression time are displayed graphically with clear color coded indicators. Visual and audible alarms are given when necessary. Maximum depth and dive time alarms can be enabled.

Easy-to-use push buttons, a straightforward menu structure and a super-bright phosphorescent LCD display make Suunto Zoop really simple to operate. The Suunto Zoop can be used as wrist unit, or mount it on one of Suunto’s Combo consoles.

Using the Suunto RGBM algorithm, Suunto Zoop enables continous decompression for optimal ascent time.

The diver can test upcoming dives and view no-decompression time data for different depths before getting in the water with the built-in dive planner. When the dive is over, the diver can transfer the dive data to the computer with the Suunto Dive Manager PC software for further analysis of the dive.
